Step-by-Step Guide
  1. 1Sit or lie down in a safe, comfortable environment.
  2. 2Take 30 rapid, deep breaths, inhaling fully through the nose and letting the air out passively through the mouth.
  3. 3After the 30th exhalation, hold your breath on empty for as long as comfortable.
  4. 4When the urge to breathe becomes strong, take a deep recovery breath in and hold it for 15 seconds.
  5. 5Exhale and repeat the entire cycle for 3 to 4 rounds.
Physiological Mechanisms
